According to Mining News Pro - Hormozgan Steel Company succeeded in producing 139,478 tons of slab in the last 4 months which is a new record and the third one in this year.
Seyed Asghar Madani, deputy of operation in HOSCO said: “We were able to establish our third new record in the last four months by producing 139,478 tons of steel slab. It is an honor for the entire company.”
“Despite the coronavirus pandemic that created more restrictions in the company and US sanctions, we were able to break the previous record in steelmaking and establish our third record during the last four months. This shows the working spirit in this company for in order to exceed the nominal annual production capacity and gain a new record in the steelmaking and continuous casting units,” he added.
“Due to its commitment to meet the needs of domestic steel companies and also to maintain the share of export markets, Hormozgan Steel will make every effort to maximize production by the end of this year,” he explained.
