Mining News Agency- About 200 coal miners refused to leave four mines after the end of their shift and staged an apparent sit-in at mines operated by ArcelorMittal`s unit in Kazakhstan, the company said on Monday.
Mining News - Miners have not announced any demands to ArcelorMittal, which operates a total of eight coal mines in Kazakhstan, the company said in a statement. It said the remaining mines were working normally.
It also did not say whether the apparent strike could affect its steel output.
