Mining News Pro - According to Cochilco, Chile, which is the major producer of copper in the world, will produce more than 6 million tons of copper in 2019 for the first time and in the next decade will experience a 30 percent growth.
According to Mining News Pro - Due to the extension of new projects in 2025 the production of copper will reach 7.2 million tons.

The agency has warned that production would be able to grow if the last round of mineral investments is realized.
Codelco, Chile`s largest miner and the world`s largest copper producer, has recently spent $ 39 billion on a 10-year project to increase its mines` productivity.
