Mining News Pro - Section S550E at the Sunrise gold zone in Yukon Territory.
According to Mining News Pro -YUKON – Vancouver-based ATAC Resources has extended the Sunrise zone with 26.7 metres of 12.95 g/t gold. The current drilling program is aimed at expanding both Sunrise and the Conrad deposit at the Rackla gold property.
The mineralization from the Sunrise zone in hole OS-18-273 is one of the highest grades from the area. It was encountered only 70 metres below surface.
Step-out drilling at Conrad cut 52.1 metres of 2.83 g/t gold within the open pit resource area. This year’s drilling has expanded the near surface mineralization within the high prospective 650-850 fault corridor.
Drilling at the Orion gold project has tested geochemical anomalies selected on the presence of pathfinder elements and along the Anubis fault. Barrick Gold of Toronto is earning a 70% interest in Orion by investing approximately $65 million.
More detailed assay results are available in the news release of Sept. 13, 2018, posted at www.ATACresources.com.
