Growth of 12.1% in Anglo-american copper production in the second quarter of 2018

Meanwhile, the Los Bronces mine in Chile, with a production of 89,700 tons of copper, grew by 13.5 percent, thanks to an improvement in operations and an increase in the level of ore deposits from 0.7 percent to 0.76 percent.

An increase of 25.9% in the production of the El Soldado mine in Chile and a production of 13,122 tonnes was also due to a production breakdown of 2017. The Anglo American company`s annual production target of 630 to 660 thousand tons remained unchanged.
