The installation of Sefid Dasht steel plant was started

CEO of Sefid Dasht Steel company of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari reiterated: We hope that the steel plant will be operational by the end of this year by accelerating the work of the contractors and compensating for the delay.

Arbab Zadeh, referring to the plan to produce 650 to 700 thousand tons of sponge iron, noted that during the first three months of this year, 155,000 tons of sponge iron was produced at the direct recovery unit of Sefid Dasht Steel Company, which is ahead of the production plan. He continued: Over the past year, this unit produced 480,000 tons of sponge iron.

The Sefid Dasht Sponge Iron Plant was the first provincial steels to be built by IMIDRO in 2016 with private sector partnerships. According to the plans, this year, the launch program of the steelmaking sector will be executed.
