Mining News Pro - Haver & Boecker Niagara has grown its range of high-tech analytic tools with Pulse Condition Monitoring (Pulse CM) for constant examination of vibrating screens.
The wireless maintenance tool is easy to understand and install, and was designed to partner with the company’s Pulse Vibration Analysis tool.
Haver & Boecker Niagara project and sales engineer Thiago Buoso said the product represented just how useful the company could be.
“Haver & Boecker Niagara has a history of developing solutions to help producers increase their uptime,” Buoso said.
“Unexpected downtime is a huge source of lost revenue for producers, so we aim to create products and technology that prevent that.
“Additionally, there is a lack of reliable systems like this on the market. Pulse Condition Monitoring is the most detailed, accurate monitoring system available to customers.”
The technology will be exhibited at this year’s MINExpo in Las Vegas, where attendees will witness the true ease of Pulse CM.
The tool differs from its Vibration Analysis counterpart, as Pulse CM uses permanently installed sensors, which relay any diagnostic information back to the operator through email notifications.
At 48-hour, five-day and four-week intervals, Pulse CM sends notifications to ensure users are aware of any equipment issues well ahead of time.
Up to 20 sensors can be wirelessly connected via a gateway, which can be installed up to 75 metres away from any sensor. This will allow for any information from any one sensor to be conglomerated and sent to the Haver & Boecker Niagara cloud for comprehensive analysis of all moving parts.
