Mining News Pro - According to the statistics of Iran`s Mining and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization, foreign media reported that exports of iron ore in the first five months of this year were about 5.5 million tons, down 26% from the same period last year.
According to Mining News Pro -Sponge iron exports rose 7 percent to 370,000 tons in the first 5 months of this year, while the government has imposed export restrictions, media reported.
During the mentioned period, exports of coal and coal to Iran increased by 128% to 280 thousand tons.
Iranian merchants believe that shipping costs are the main obstacle to Iran`s exports now and due to the limited routes available in ports of Iran and China, the volume of cargo in ports has risen.
