North American stainless steel mills to raise surcharges for Apr
Mining News Agency -The major stainless steel manufacturers in North America announced to raise their surcharges for stainless steel products in April, mainly due to the rising prices of stainless steel’s main raw materials such as nickel and molybdenum.

Mining News -North American stainless steel manufacturers, including North American Stainless (NAS) and ATI Allegheny Ludlum, would hike their March surcharge for Grade 304 to 70.9~74.51 cents/lb, up by from 65.02~67.15 cents/lb in the previous month.

The surcharge for Grade 316 was raised to 101.6~105.2 cents/lb, up from 94.60~94.61 cents/lb of last month. As for Grade 430, the surcharge will be increased to 29.32~32.93 cents/lb from 24.73~26.90 cents/lb in the last month.
