Mining News Agency -It was reported that Khorasan Steel, the fourth-largest steelmaker in Iran, started operating its second electric arc furnace (EAF) plant last year, and drove the direct reduced iron (DRI) output growing.
Mining News -The director of Khorasan Steel DRI mill said that the DRI output would increase further to ensure the stable supply of raw materials after the pellet plant was put into operation.
In a month ending January 20th, Khorasan Steel’s DRI output reached 128,000 tons, hitting a record high for the single month.
