According to Mining News Pro - India is currently the second largest steel producer in the world, and although China will reduce steel production, India plans to increase its steel production by more than double.
The Indian government has planned to increase its steel production capacity to 300 million tons, according to the country, which said its consumption of steel has increased by 7.9 percent over the past two years.
Therefore, India`s steel capacity for the years 2030 to 2031 is estimated at 300 million tonnes and targets about 260 million tonnes.
