Predict the slow pace of global demand for lead in the coming year / Demand in 2018 to reach 11.71 million tons
Mining News Pro - According to a study by the International Lead and Zinc Organization, the global demand for refined lead this year will increase by about 0.2 percent to 11.71 million tons and in 2019 it will increase by 0.7 percent to 11.79 million tons.

According to Mining News Pro -It is expected that in 2018, China`s apparent consumption would decrease by 0.6 percent, due to increased lithium battery penetration and slower vehicle growth, and lower demand for motorcycles by motorists.

 China`s apparent consumption is expected to decline by about 1.3% in 2019.

 However, Europe`s consumption is projected to increase by 1.4% in 2018 and by 1.8% in 2019. In the United States, lead in 2018 is down 0.6 percent, but in 2019, it is expected to increase by 2.5 percent.
