Loading of 1000 tonnes of rebar from Bafgh Steel to Tabriz / Export to Turkey is the final destination of the loaded cargo.

According to Mining News Pro -Seyyed Mostafa Davoodi added that the cargo was loaded using 18 wagons.

He predicted: If a railroad subcontinent is built, with the announcement of the private sector, more than 500,000 tons of rebar can be shipped annually through the Bafgh Steel Railroad fleet.

Director General of Yazd Railways said: "Bafgh Steel is currently being shipped in lower tonnage using a truck."

Daudi continued, "The amount of steel shipped with 50 wagons through rail lines is equal to loading by using 190 trucks, which will significantly help reduce traffic and save fuel."

Yazd is located on the highway of the country`s railroad network, and the railway is the most strategic destination in the country, with 130 rail passenger and freight trains passing through this region every day.

Every 12 minutes a rail tracks through the Yazd railway, and an average of more than 40,000 tons of cargo is transferred from the mineral sections and other parts.

More than 80% of the minerals and more than 70% of the country`s transit traffic passes through the province.

11 million and 154 thousand tons of minerals, concentrates and other cargo were loaded and unloaded in the first six months of 2018 in the province`s railways, which is 7.6 percent higher than in the same period last year.
