88% growth in potash production of the Potas Khor Biabanak Complex

According to Mining News Pro - According to the Public Relations Department of Iran Mineral Processing and Production Company, Ali Alawi Naiini, director of the Potas Khor and Biabanak complex, said the company produced 8438 tons of potash in the first six months of the year, while this figure was similar in the same period Last year, there were 4,479 people.

He added that the Potas complex and Biabanak for the year 2018 produced 19,000 tons, while in the past year the complex production program was 15,000 tons.

The director of the Potas Khor and Biabanak Complex said: "We have witnessed a 44.4% improvement over the production plan in the first six months of this year."

Alawi said: Last year, we had 29.9 percent progress on the production plan in the first six months of the year.

It is worth mentioning that Potas Khor and Biabanak are the first potash producers in Iran and have the largest evaporative salts in the Middle East. This complex is located in Iran`s central desert and in the distance ??? Km east of central province of Esfahan and between ?? Km from the city of Khor and Biabanak.
