The latest state of Iranian iron ore exports / weakening exports following China`s policy of importing high-grade iron ore
Mining News Pro - Iran`s iron ore exports have generally been weakened due to increased demand for high-grade iron ore and China`s ash as well as a decrease in imports from the main buyer, China.

Although Iran`s iron ore exports showed a slight increase of 2% compared to the previous month in July, the 4-month chart (April, May, June and July) shows a 35% drop in exports this year compared to the previous year.

In July, Iran exported 1 million and 190,850 tons of iron ore, 84 million and 350 tons of iron ore to China, 55 thousand to the UAE and 25 thousand to Pakistan.

Iran`s total iron ore exports during the past four months were reported to be 4,467,700 tons, of which 93 percent were to China, 1.8 percent to the UAE, 1.2 percent to Malaysia and 0.5 percent to Pakistan.

The share of other countries, including Iraq and the Central Asian region, was a total of 3.5%.
