According to Mining News Pro: The latest state of the national project was reviewed at a meeting with the participation of a number of managing directors of the member banks of the consortium and the chairman of the Parliament`s Economic Commission at the National Bank of Iran. Mohammad Reza Hosseinzadeh, the director of the National Bank of Iran, said at the meeting, although some ignore the banking system`s services, but the banking network has always been in a difficult situation with the people and has come to the aid of the country in all circumstances.

He added: "Now that the country faces a water crisis, we need to think about children and future generations; hence the banking network with a sense of responsibility towards the water and drought crisis, in the National Gulf sweetener project for the Persian Gulf to the industries South East of the country, actively participates. Hossein Zadeh emphasized: with the participation of more state banks, a consortium has been set up by the National Bank of Iran to raise concerns with the construction of huge sweetener stations in Hormozgan province and the transfer of Gulf gas to the desert and central provinces of the country. Freshwater shortages in these areas will be resolved.

The director of the National Bank of Iran stated: "The cooperation and participation of state and semi-private banks in this project is excellent. With the efforts made, the project is in the process of concluding and signing the contract, and the payment process will begin soon.


He added that the banks involved in the project were worth 18 trillion Rials and said the project should be operational in 2019 in accordance with the timetable.

The head of the Economic Commission and Kerman delegation to the parliament also said at the meeting, "This project is a successful example of supporting the banking system from the private sector in major national projects."

Mohammad Reza Pour Ebrahimi emphasized: Now that the country faces a water crisis, the efforts of the country`s banking network to overcome this problem and participate in this enormous and nationally admirable plan.

He added: "We need to strengthen the status of the banking system if we want to make the economy of the country ideal and to see big things in the industry."

Pour Ebrahimi called the National Bank of Iran, the largest state bank, the powerful arm of major national projects, and praised the cooperation and participation of state and semi-private banks to participate in this project.


In order to implement this consortium, with the participation of a large number of state and national government banks, the National Bank of Iran has been established to build a large national scale, build huge stations of desalination in Hormozgan province, and transfer the deserted and centralized provinces of the Gulf to the deserted and central provinces. Country, participate. National Bank of Iran, Sepah, Agriculture, Mellat, Industry and Mine, Export, Welfare, Commerce and Development of Cooperatives participate in the implementation of this project.


The project aims to transfer, supply and sweeten 130 million cubic meters annually through a 900 km long pipeline from the provinces of Hormozgan, Kerman and Yazd, in addition to supplying the water needed by the Sarcheshmeh, Golgohar Sirjan and Chadormalouh copper companies Drinking water in these areas will also be provided. The Asian Water Development Engineering Company in the Division of Sweetening and Persian Gulf Water Supply and Transfer Company in the Transmission Division, are implementing the project.
