Karbasian Invited Entrepreneurs to Attend Mine and Mining Industries Sector

Mining News -According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Mehdi Karbasian on sideline of inauguration of Sabzevar DRI plant expressed that during the last Iranian year (ended March20,2018) Iran exported over 9 million tonnes of steel chain products and 20 percent of country’s exports belonged to mine and mining industries sector and we discovered new markets.

Chairman of the board of IMIDRO noted the attraction of some of country’s investment such as banks in mine and mining industries sector as one of IMIDRO’s honors.

Parsian Bank was not attending the mines and mining industries sector. Now, it is attending in 2 important projects including Sabzevar steel (with 85percent share and IMIDRO has 15 percent share) and Sangan Opal Parsian project (with 60 percent share and IMIDRO has 40percent share), he explained.

Opal Parsian pelletizing plant was inaugurated in January2018 and its concentrate production has 2 phases which first phase with production capacity of 2.6 million tonnes is producing now and the executive operations of the second phase with production capacity of 2.4 million tonnes will be started in next 2 months, Karbasian said.
