Exports of cement and clinker increased by 17.3%

According to Mining News Pro -  Seyyed Mohammad Atabak said total exports of cement and clinker during the period under review amounted to 5.819 million and 367 tons, while in the first five months of the last year, 4.959 thousand and 879 tons were exported.

He added: The amount of cement exports during the above-mentioned period was more than 2 million and 935 thousand and 406 tons, which is 9 percent, compared to the same period last year.

Atabak noted that Clinker exports also amounted to 2,883,960 tons, up 26.9 percent from the same period last year, with a yield of 2,273,337 tons.

The head of the trade union organization noted that over the past five months, more than 20 countries from the Asian, European and African continents have attracted Iranian exports of cement, including 30% and 26% respectively, as first and second Were second

According to the cement industry, in the first five months of this year, Russia bought more than 44.3 thousand tons of cement, while Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were in the queue for buyers of these building materials.

He also explained about exporters of clinker buyers: Bangladesh and Kuwait accounted for 22% and 21% of total exports of 2.8 million tonnes, respectively.

The customs statistics tables during the first five months of this year show that seven million and 539,422 tons of cement chain was exported from our country, up 8 percent from the same period last year.

The value of cement exports during the period was $ 270.4 million, up seven percent from the same period last year.

During this period, more than 20.4 thousand tons of cement chain came into the country, which is 23% more than in the previous five months.

The value of cement import imports during the period under review exceeded the $ 14.9 million mark, which recorded a growth of 26% compared to the first five months of last year.
