Only 30% lead and zinc unit’s capacity is used in the country

Vajiollah Jafari, Managing Director of Iranian Mineral Processing and Production Company, at the meeting on the plan for the revitalization, activation and development of small scale mines, said the activation of mines Small-scale private sector partnerships will lead to an increase in sustainable employment levels in less developed regions. "Increasing the production of minerals is another goal of the plan," he said.

Jafari noted: By implementing the plan, the activation and development of small mines will increase the supply of raw materials to the factories and optimize the use of scientific potential.

He stated: After announcing priorities, we are seeking to connect with provincial organizations and mineral organizations, and in this regard, timely information should be provided and enough information should be provided to the applicants.


Managing director of Iran Mineral Processing and Processing Company said: In the field of infrastructure provision, the head of the IMIDRO board of directors has given instructions to the investment fund for mineral activity and the conditions should be facilitated for small mines.

Jafari said that only about 30 percent of the capacity of lead units in the country will be used and we hope that by implementing this plan, the raw materials required by the country`s mineral processing plants will be provided.
