SASKATCHEWAN – Murchison Minerals of Toronto says its winter drilling program has returned high grades and extended the known limits of its Brabant-McKenzie zinc-copper-silver deposit that is 175 km northeast of La Ronge.

All 19 completed holes intersected volcanogenic massive sulphides, confirming the high grade nature and continuity of the mineralization.

The best assays from the winter program were 12.30% zinc, 0.70% copper, 0.18% lead and 42.03 g/t silver over 6.37 metres. Stated otherwise, that is a zinc equivalent of 14.97%.

Murchison estimated the Brabant-McKenzie resources at 1.5 million indicated tonnes grading 746% zinc, 0.70% copper and 4.5 million inferred tonnes grading 5.99% zinc and 0.62% copper as recently as March 2018. The winter drill program tested the peripheral edges of the deposit, upgraded some material to indicated, and intercept possible high grade areas, including a newly identified polymetallic zone located above the main mineralized zones.
