Mining News - The only enterprise to mine for nickel in the region was the research company “Geotechologia”. It is developing the Shanuch copper-nickel deposits.

This year it intends to mine some 9.5 thousand tons of nickel, up by 36% YoY.

Last year the output totaled 7 thousand tons of nickel.
